SERVER DATA

The following data, namely so-called server log files, are collected by us for technical reasons because your Internet browser sends them to us or our web space provider:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Website from which you visit us (Referrer URL)
  • Website you are visiting
  • Date and time of your access
  • Your Internet Protocol (= IP) address

This data is anonymous and will be stored separately from any personal data you may have provided. In this way, no conclusions can be drawn about a particular person. The data is only evaluated for statistical purposes in order to optimize our Internet presence and our offers.

COOKIES

In order to make our offer as user-friendly as possible, we use so-called cookies on our website. These are small text files which we transmit via our web server to the cookie file of the browser on the hard disk of your computer. This enables our website to recognize you as a user when a connection is established between our web server and your browser. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our Internet pages. The content of the cookies used by us is limited to an identification number that no longer allows any personal reference to the user. The main purpose of a cookie is to recognize visitors to the site.

Two types of cookies are used on this website:

  • Session cookies: These are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave our website and are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.
  • Persistent cookies: For better usability, cookies remain stored on your end device and allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for specific cases or generally exclude them and activate automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS WITH ANONYMIZATION FUNCTION

On our website, we use functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics of the company Google LLC with headquarters in 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). With the help of this tool we analyse the use of your website. In particular, this happens again via the cookies, which generate information that is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there. The stored data includes, for example, the time, place and frequency of your website visit including your IP address. As already described in the previous section, you can prevent the installation of cookies at any time by setting your browser accordingly. This will allow you to ensure that no information is passed on to Google. At this point, however, we would like to point out once again that deactivating cookies does not allow you to make full use of all the functions of our website.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymization feature. This means that your IP address will be truncated and anonymized by Google itself within the member states of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. This means that only a rough localization is possible.

Google uses this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our site, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may disclose this data to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the data on Google's behalf. According to its own information, Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

For the most common browsers, Google itself offers a cookie disable option. This gives you more control over what data Google can collect and process. If you activate this option, no information about your visit to our website will be passed on to Google Analytics. However, activation does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services we may use. For more information about the deactivation option provided by Google and how to activate it, please visit the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?Hl=de

We have signed a contract with Google LLC for the processing of order data. Data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 Para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.

The improvement of our offer and our web presence are our concerns in the sense of the DSGVO (= legitimate interest). The protection of the privacy of our users is immensely important to us. All user data is therefore pseudonymised and stored for a period of 24 months.

GOOGLE ADWORDS

We advertise our website with the Google advertising tool "Google-Adwords". At the same time we use the analysis service "Conversion-Tracking" of the company Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain view, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). If you came to our homepage via a Google advertisement, a cookie is stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. These so-called "conversion cookies" are only valid for 30 days and do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your personal identity. If you visit certain pages of our site and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that you, as a user, have clicked on one of our ads placed with Google and have been directed to our site.

The data that Google collects using "conversion cookies" is used to compile visit statistics for our website. This is interesting for us because it tells us how many users clicked on our ad in total and which pages of our website were subsequently accessed by the respective user. Neither we nor anyone else who advertises on Google Adwords receives information that personally identifies users.

The installation of the "Conversion-Cookies" can be prevented by an appropriate setting of the browser. It is possible to deactivate the automatic setting of cookies in general or to block cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com" in particular. You will find Google's data protection declaration in this regard under the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

GOOGLE FONTS

We use Google Fonts of the company Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") on our website. It is used without authentication. In addition, no cookies are sent. Even if you have an account with Google, none of your account information will be transmitted to Google while using Google Fonts. Only the use of CSS and the fonts used are recorded and securely stored by Google. You can find out more at: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq.

You can read which data Google collects and what it is used for here: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy.

YOUTUBE WITH EXTENDED PRIVACY MODE

On our website we use parts of videos from the company youtube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave, 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We use the "extended privacy mode" option provided by youtube. When you go to a page that has a video embedded on it, it connects to the youtube servers. The content is displayed on the website by a message to your browser.

According to youtube, in "extended data protection mode" only data is transmitted to the youtube server, in particular which of our websites you visited when you viewed the video. If you are logged in to youtube at the same time, this information will be assigned to your member account. You can easily prevent this by logging out of your youtube account before you visit our site.

Google provides further information on youtube's data protection at the following link: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

INSTAGRAM

We have also used Instagram on our website. It is a service provided by Instagram Inc. If you use the integrated button on our homepage to call up the corresponding page of our website, Instagram will receive information about it. If you are logged in to Instagram, the service can assign your visit to our site to your Instagram account and link the data. The data transmitted by clicking the "Insta" button is saved by Instagram. To prevent this, you can log out of your Instagram account before visiting our site.

The Instagram Privacy Notices provide more information about the purpose and scope of data collection, its processing and use, and your rights and settings to protect your privacy. These are available at the following link: https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388.

FACEBOOK PIXEL

On our website we work with the Facebook Pixel from Facebook, a social media network of the company Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. The built-in code evaluates the visitor behavior that came to this page from a Facebook advertisement. With this knowledge, Facebook advertisements can be improved more and more. However, this data is collected and stored by Facebook. The data collected cannot be viewed by us, but can only be used within the framework of advertising placements.

The Facebook pixel code also sets cookies. Facebook pixel tells Facebook when it visits the site so that visitors can see matching ads on Facebook. If you are logged into Facebook and visit our site at the same time, your visit will be associated with your Facebook user account.

Detailed information on how Facebook pixels are used for advertising campaigns can be found at https://www.facebook.com/business/learn/facebook-ads-pixel.

If you are logged in to Facebook, you can change the settings for ads in Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?Entry_product=ad_settings_screen.

You can manage your preferences for usage-based online advertising at www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/ There is the possibility to deactivate or activate several providers at once or to change the settings for individual providers. For more information about Facebook's data policy, please visit https://de-de.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.

FACEBOOK SOCIAL PLUGIN

We use Facebook Social Plugins on our website, which are provided by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). The embeddings are recognizable by the Facebook logo or by the terms "like" and "like", in the colors Facebooks (blue and white). Information about all Facebook plugins can be found under the following link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

The plugins are not activated until you click on the corresponding buttons. If these are grayed out, the plugins are inactive. You have the possibility to activate the plugins once or permanently.

The plugins establish a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. This is only done after the plugin has been activated. The website operator has no influence whatsoever on the nature and extent of the data that the plugin transmits to the Facebook Inc. Servers. You can find more information here: https://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084

The plugin informs Facebook that you have visited this website as a user. It is possible that your IP address will be saved. If you are logged into your Facebook account while visiting this website, the information will be linked to that account.

If you use the functions of the plugin - for example by "likening" a post - the corresponding information will also be transmitted to Facebook.

USE OF RECAPTCHA

We use the "recaptcha" service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") to protect input forms on our site. The service allows us to distinguish whether an input is of human origin or is abused by automated machine processing.

To the best of our knowledge, the referrer URL, the IP address, the behaviour of website visitors, information about the operating system, browser and length of visit, cookies, display instructions and scripts, the user's input behaviour and mouse movements in the "recaptcha" checkbox area are transmitted to "Google".

Google uses the information obtained in this way, among other things, to digitize books and other printed products and to optimize services such as Google Street View and Google Maps.
The IP address transmitted in the context of "recaptcha" is normally not merged with other data from Google. This only happens if you are logged into your Google account at the time of using the "recaptcha" plug-in. If you do not want "Google" to transmit and store your data and visitor behavior, you can log out of "Google" before you visit our site or use the "recaptcha" plug-in. The information obtained through the use of the "recaptcha" service is provided in accordance with the Google Terms of Use: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/
